АМЕРИЧКО-РУСКИ ОДНОСИ: БАЛАНСИРАЊЕ ИНТЕРЕСА И СТРАХОВА

Sažetak

Флуктуација америчко-руских односа упућује на чињеницу да корелација ове две земље представља један од најзначајнијих и најкомплекснијих аспеката глобалне политике, те да је испреплетана фазама сарадње и ривалитета који континуирано утичу на формирање глобалног поретка. Са блоковском поделом света на „Исток” и „Запад”, управо су односи ове две силе одређивали дешавања и обликовали политичке прилике на светској геополитичкој сцени. Са сваком сменом администрација, конкурентски однос Вашингтона и Москве бива настављен, праћен ограниченим ентузијазмом ка сарадњи, претежно у домену контроле наоружања и борбе против глобалних претњи. Циљ овог рада је да се, анализирајући иницијалну фазу побољшања односа подстакнуту тенденцијом „ресетовања”, као и избијање новог таласа тензија у америчко-руским односима, идентификују кључни догађаји и политике које су обликовале односе Сједињених Америчких Држава и Руске Федерације на почетку 21. века, као и да се укаже на узроке неуспеха „ресетовања”. Посебна пажња посвећена је утицају успона Кине и растућем значају групације БРИКС као фактора који додатно компликују билатералне односе. Методолошки, рад се заснива на хронолошко-дескриптивној анализи, уз ослањање на релевантну литературу, званичне документе и научне студије. Овај приступ омогућава објективнији увид у кључне процесе који обликују америчко-руске односе у савременом међународном систему. Рад се ослања на три основна теоријска оквира из области међународних односа, реалистички, либерални и конструктивистички, који омогућавају интеграцију емпиријских и теоријских аспеката у тумачењу билатералних динамика.
